EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SERVICES
The School currently has about 10 members of staff with various professional qualifications relevant to the field of autism.
Emphasis has been on basic literacy and skills acquisition. Being a life long developmental disability, which affects the way a person communicates and relates with people around him, the requirement for a sustained and life long therapy, has made it such that the facility has not yet produced graduates.
It is hoped, that with adequate funding in the future and expansion of its programmes and services, autistic persons, who have spent reasonable time in the sub-unit of the Foundation will be able to transit and be absorbed effortlessly into the community.

Be Treated Like A King
Warmth & Support!
The institution has continued to provide residential and functional educational services to children, adolescents and young adults, who have been clinically assessed and diagnosed to be autistic. At present, there are about fifteen (15) persons, who are all males between the ages of 12 to 35 years in the facility. (It should be noted that research has shown that Autism Spectrum Disorders affect more male children than females).

Management
Future Establishments
Given the obvious challenges of persons exhibiting this condition, the management of the school envisages that there might be problems and difficulties of a different nature in housing/boarding both male and female autistic persons on the same premises, given close proximity of the two hostels. Hence, at present, it accepts only males. This is not gender insensitivity on the part of the organization, but a challenge. To this end, the foundation has an advanced plan to establish another school for FEMALE Autistics in Lagos, based on the requests we receive regularly from the families of autistic persons in Lagos State. Nevertheless, whenever we are able to expand the needed facilities with capable personnel, we hope to admit female autistic persons.
